Suzie Mitchell and her band are riding high, thanks to the unscrupulous methods of their money-grubbing manager Z.W. McCain. Money and fame are all very well, but having their lives micromanaged by a tight-fisted handler is not the sort of price the band is willing to pay for success. Their contract is air-tight, and it seems as if they’re stuck.
