First, I’ve resurrected a video from the old site, spruced it up and am bringing it back: EMANUELLE IN BANGKOK: A TRIBUTE (2.0). Basically, the video is scenes from the film set to music from the soundtrack. The original upload got nearly 65,000 views, so I thought it was time to bring it back! You can see it and much more in the Screening Room (or you can watch below).
Plus…FINALLY an update to the sounds section! This time we present six fun radio spots from some of our favorite Kaiju (Japanese giant monster) movies! Check it out on the Sounds page!
Happy July, everyone! Let’s get started with a new review! This time, we’re taking a look at Theodore Gershuny’s psychosexual masterwork SUGAR COOKIES. A sinister film producer kills his star in a kinky game of Russian Roulette and stages it as a suicide. He tasks the actress’ agent into finding him a new plaything, with explosive results for everyone involved.

This essential slice of cinema stars cult siren Lynn Lowry, Warhol Superstar Mary Woronov and George Shannon in a decadent, sinister performance. You can read our review of SUGAR COOKIES here.
Stay tuned for a big update next time with another new review, new sounds and new wallpaper all dedicated to the cult classic THE APPLE. Coming soon!
Hello again! This time around we review the weird and intriguing LITTLE MISS INNOCENCE. This 1973 flick, the directorial debut of Chris Warfield, stars John Alderman as a bachelor who picks up two sexy hitchhikers (Sandy Dempsey and Terri Johnson) thinking he’s in for a good time. What he gets is far more bizarre and unhinged than he could have imagined! You can check out the review here.
Hello! Took a little break and now we’re back! First off, we’ve got a major overhaul of the SCREENING ROOM. We’re moving away from streaming sites and into hosting the videos onsite so we can bring you a more reliable, diverse experience. Older videos will be gradually updated with higher quality versions and the new SCREENING ROOM continues to grow. Check it out!
Also, not one but TWO new Grindhouse wallpapers! First from Lucio Fulci’s THE NEW YORK RIPPER and the second from the classic spookfest FRANKENSTEIN’S CASTLE OF FREAKS (whose artwork would later be purloined for Joe D’Amato’s EROTIC NIGHTS OF THE LIVING DEAD!)
Here are a couple of previews, check out the WALLPAPERS page for the full-sized versions as well as previous selections!
In the next week or so: a new review, a new article, two new animations and (finally) updates to the SOUNDS page! See you next time!
Hello again! New in this update, a review of 1978’s naughty “thriller” ISLAND OF 1,000 DELIGHTS. It’s a film best summed up as: “Beautiful people do ugly things in beautiful places. Naked.” You can read the full review here.
Stay tuned for the next update, coming mid-week. There will be groovy new sleaze tunes on the sounds page and we’ll be spiffing up an old review to reflect a dazzling new Blu-Ray release! See you then!
