Hey folks! A couple of audiovisual updates today!
First, I’ve resurrected a video from the old site, spruced it up and am bringing it back: EMANUELLE IN BANGKOK: A TRIBUTE (2.0). Basically, the video is scenes from the film set to music from the soundtrack. The original upload got nearly 65,000 views, so I thought it was time to bring it back! You can see it and much more in the Screening Room (or you can watch below).
Plus…FINALLY an update to the sounds section! This time we present six fun radio spots from some of our favorite Kaiju (Japanese giant monster) movies! Check it out on the Sounds page!
Lots of fun stuff to kick off April here at The Grindhouse Effect!
We’ve got a brand-new wallpaper based on the poster of CONFESSIONS OF LINDA LOVELACE.
Two selections from the soundtrack of the 1977 German sex comedy JOY OF FLYING.
We take another look at the 1974 TV film WONDER WOMAN starring Cathy Lee Crosby.
I’ve gotten a few messages asking when I’ll be doing more straightforward sex film reviews. Well, stay tuned in the coming weeks for reviews of some super sordid sexy cinema!
